A Summer Wedding at Mt. Norquay | Banff, AB

Elise and Dan's summer wedding at Mt. Norquay is one I will always remember.

This location should definitely be added to the list of places to consider for your wedding. Located across the highway from Banff, Norquay is without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful places to have a wedding. You are surrounded by endless mountains and green foliage in the summertime. Not to mention how close you are to Banff Downtown which makes it perfect for a fun getaway for all the friends and family. Not to mention a complimentary lift ticket so you can capture some beautiful shots with stunning landscapes. For a photo like the one featured above, I recommend sending the photographer up before the bride and groom and only getting on the lift once they have made it to the top. This gives the photographer time to find the right spot and get set up so they can be sure to not miss the shot!

Elise and Dan also made it incredibly special with their bright energy and beautiful layout, from the reception decor inside to ceremony decor outside, it looked Pinterest board worthy. The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful and Norquay is really special the backdrop they provide. Luckily it was a bright sunny day with the cover of cloud every now and then making for some magical photos.

The Reception was incredibly tear worthy! It was held in the lodge and is a great space for speeches, with huge windows allowing stunning views and natural light in.

They also had a huge patio just outside for everyone to hangout, dance and take photos together. Not to mention they also have a perfectly sized dance floor for all the dancing shenanigans at the end of the night. Everyone at this wedding knew how to have a good time, and clearly had so much fun, which is what weddings are all about!

It's safe to say that a Summer Wedding at Mt. Norquay is the way to go! I am always so grateful to be a part of days like today, celebrating love and happiness, congratulations Elise and Dan!
